Libertarian Party eyes spoiler role in 2012 race | Fox News

Interesting. I think many of us saw him as a spoiler anyway, but I could at least respect him running on his own principles. But now that I know that that the Libertarian Party intends for him to be a spoiler, well, I've lost a lot of respect for them and for Johnson as a candidate.

Nahh I could care less about that...

It's too bad Johnson isn't talking about prosecuting people like Corzine, shutting down the FED, bringing home the military, repealing the patriot act, ect...

Does anyone else think they may be thinking long term, and trying to force the GOP to incorporate some of their views into their platform?

In all honesty, as the article even pointed out was the case with Colorado, I think the Libertarians draw equal support from the Democrats and Republicans. At least with a lot of the Ron Paul supporters I know, more of them are disenchanted Democrats than disenchanted Republicans (granted Ron Paul is not entirely Libertarian).
