"The fall from power and subsequent death of Qaddafi brings to end a brutal chapter in Libya's history-but that does not validate the president's approach to Libya. The credit goes to the people of Libya."
Libya was another one of the instances of Republicans being for something before they were against it. They jumped and screamed that we looked weak by not enforcing a no-fly zone and how dare the President ignore this opportunity to take out Qaddafi, but then did a full 180 after we did get involved.
Letting the Europeans take control on a situation in their backyard and handling the situation with some patience and finesse worked. No invading force, no American lives lost and a brand new ally in the region. The White House and Pentagon did this one right.

But the GOP will never, ever give credit where it is due.
