"There is no way that I can square what Mitt is doing and saying on the campaign trail with the Mitt I have known for 40 years and I don't know how he can square it either," said Mr Kimball.

I don't think reading is the problem with those types. It's the comprehending that's so difficult.

That is, until you actually do read the whole thing and get to the part where he's ripped to shreds by a former colleague.

I think this is the better quote from the article:

Quote:
"The hard-edged individualism, the turning his back on the poor, the arguing that the rich deserve more tax breaks, that is all counter to what Mormonism teaches about compassion and collective care. Mitt seems to create a caricature of Obama and the Democrats and then attacks that creation. I think he lacks the antennae that a good politician needs and I have serious misgivings about how he would manage the White House."

You do understand that it denotes a lack of integrity when a person cannot maintain who they have shown themselves to be and replaces it with what they think will advance he is not comming across as authentic. The policies, such as the Ryan Budget Plan, which Romey embraces, runs away from then embraces again, certainly does not seem to be in line with what any religion preaches, so it is not surprising that his fellow Mormons are having issues with it.

Sorry all the other examples in the article wash this one away. There are just to many instances of Romney helping people personally with no fanfare to take stock in one bitter associates comments.

Try again.
