This is where Romney comes from........ In Michigan during the 60's WOW.....

ANN ARBOR, Mich. — In 1963, an explosive year in the quest for civil rights, George Romney appeared unannounced in the mostly white suburb of Grosse Pointe and marched to the front of an anti-segregation demonstration to stand beside black leaders.

Aggressive civil-rights stance left Romney's father at odds with party | Nation & World | The Seattle Times

What are black civil rights, and how do they differ from civil rights for the rest of us?

Maybe Romney will pick up Al Sharpton's unpaid $88,000 bill at the Peabody Hotel.

Black civil rights are civil rights for blacks. They don't differ from anyone else's anymore - but they certainly used to.

How is it possible that anyone thinks that Romney doesn't agree with civil rights?

There are many Black people who agree that Romney empowers them. You know, Black people who don't want to be told by the NAACP who they can be or become.

How a person grows up and who their role models are speaks volumes. There is no question in my mind that such a courageous man like George Romney, had a profound and good effect on Mitt. The people that don't see that, just don't WANT to.
