According to a Gallup poll in 2011: Seniors actually liked Ryan’s plan over Obama's best :

A new Gallup/USA Today poll contains a counterintuitive finding: the age group most receptive to House Budget Chair Paul Ryan‘s plan to deal with the budget – seniors.

The poll finds 48 percent of seniors (those 65 and over) support Ryan’s plan over President Obama‘s plan, while 42 percent back the president.

That’s the highest total among the age groups tested – a 47 percent plurality between the ages of 50 and 64 backed Ryan, and a 45 percent plurality of those between 30-49 backed Ryan.

Ryan has plans to reform it, while not affecting anyone over 55 right now. Obama has NO plan. Hell, what are his plans for anything besides letting taxes go up for people?

You can bet Obama care is a work in progress, long after 2014. Just because those under 55 are screwed doesn't make the errand boy Ryan plan any better.

Voters in three swing states are down on the Republican plans for Medicare, but the race remains tight in a nationwide poll today. Also, Obama's maintaining something of a lead in Ohio and an even bigger one in Pennsylvania. Source

Findings: A majority of voters in three swing states — hovering around 60 percent in each — want Medicare to remain as it is rather than change it "to a system in which the government would provide seniors with a fixed amount of money toward purchasing private health insurance or Medicare insurance" as Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan are proposing, according to a new poll. The Romney-Ryan option attracts less than a third of voters.

I am a self-employed small business owner who pays for my and my employees health care.

I am also a 20 year retired veteran who COULD use the VA Health Care if I chose to.

I obviously think that there is only ONE person running for President that ACTUALLY ALREADY stole $716 Billion dollars for Medicare.

I also see that Ryan's Plan gives seniors the option of having the same exact plan that Congress has.
