Sounds to me like he's going to drop out of the race. Some pundits are saying that he's going to announce that he's staying in, but why would you announce that twice in a week, unless you're a complete twit.

Oh wait. We're talking about Todd Akin. Never mind.

I added to my post (sorry). Drudge and those guys think he's going to announce that he's committed long term to staying in, but why would you DO that? Announcing the same thing twice in a week is just weird.

OK....this is interesting. It says multiple news outlets are reporting that he'll announce he's staying in. I hope they're wrong.

It also says the press conference will be at 5:15 EST. That makes no sense. Missouri is on Central Time - daylight time now. But, anyway, 5:15 EST would be 5:15 CDT. So is it in 24 minutes or in 1 hour and 24 minutes? But wouldn't they say Eastern Daylight Time unless they were an Indiana news outlet if they were going to use Eastern time at all?

It looks like we all discovered this at the same time (Dan and I from the same source no less). I posted the link at the same time Dan posted it and at the same time MB edited her post.

Good lord...I just hope he doesn't say anything else that's ultra-crazy. If he announces he's staying in, I bet he will.

Why? So we can hear another insincere politician apologizing for something
he really meant in the first place...

Seems to me he should just run and let's see if the folks of MO elect him.
And if he should win - Who should be more embarrassed about that:
the folks of Missouri or him

Fakery makes me sick.

It's at 4:15 central time. You're right and I screwed up. I was up most of the night finishing up a project and my brain is toast today. My bad and thanks for the correction.
