Good to see you are consistently only reading titles and making judgements, maybe you should go back and read the reasons why because they are valid reasons, but I doubt you know what those reasons are.

Thanks...I was hoping a Liberal would come along so I could post that one main reason is because Obama is a DEADBEAT who's campaign promises to pay for security and then skates away without paying them:

The other main reason is they would have to take on the full cost of security, and because of university policy and their federal and state tax exempt status, they would have to offer the same opportunity to the other candidate so as not to show favor for either candidate.

Everyone knows that Obama does not pay cities when he holds a fundraiser and the city gets stuck with the bill. Romney always pays the bill for the extra security.

Here is another town that got stiffed for an Obama visit

Town Wants Obama Campaign to Foot The Bill for Monday's Visit
The Obama campaign is locked in a stalemate with a small New Hampshire town over who should foot the cost for police protection for the president's visit on Monday.

An Obama campaign official confirmed Saturday night that it will not cover the cost of any police details associated with Monday's visit.

The town has typically covered the cost of presidential visits, but says it shouldn't have to cover expenses for a political campaign.

LOL urbanlife78

While there are certainly financial implications to a state university that has seen faculty and staff salary freezes for the past five years, the primary reasons for declining the offer were related to disruption of the first days of classes.

The other main reason is they would have to take on the full cost of security, and because of university policy and their federal and state tax exempt status, they would have to offer the same opportunity to the other candidate so as not to show favor for either candidate.

Of course they had to look for other reasons so they can soften it when trying to avoid a 90K bill. Exactly what I would do if someone is going to cost me a lot of money and not pay me. DUH!
