So, we find this only on some way off web site....

If this was true...the MSM would be all over it, front page news, top of the hour news, and maybe even ahead of the Hurricane story....

But no, some weird a$$ leftist site....

I'd doubt if there's something similar that has gone on with someone supporting Obama or Hillary.
So what do you call the many billions of dollars from workers at thousands of employers, funneled through the unions, to Democrat candidates and causes? So glad to see that you find this practice highly objectionable.

This thread was crying out to be revisited. Saw the journalist that did an expose on this earlier and again, Romney's disregard, along with many other GOP candidates, for the average American, is unbelievable.

Romney has nothing to do with employer nitwits even suggesting (strongly) to vote for him. The real nitwits are the ones who even bring up the subject as if Romney sanctions this stupid activity ....go away!

This really should be front page news. The journalist noted that when people were hired at Murray Energy they had to agree to automatic payments from their earnings that went to a PAC that the owner used to give donations to the candidates of his choice.
Everyone should read the full report.

Wrong. The fact that Mr. Romney chose to make an appearance at this man's company shows very clearly that he approves of this practice.

Unions by federal law can't use dues money to support candidates. They have to have separate donation drives with separate bank accounts. No one in a union if forced to donate to a CAP drive if they don't want to and in most states, by law, those CAP drives have to be conducted by mail so no one can be accused of putting pressure on members to donate. This is in no way comparable to having an employer forcing automatic deductions to a CAP fund as a term of employment.

Hmmm... I've never worked anywhere I didn't want to work. I always knew where the exit door was.

But Obama and company want to pretend like Gov. Romney is the only rich person in the race. Also, Romney earned his money. The Obamas were up to their eyeballs in debt (some to thugs) until he started taking all that lobbyist money in Illinois.
