It's about the economy stupid so Romney will win by a landslide. If Americans are so stupid to vote like it's the American Idol than they will get the president they deserve and the economy will stay the way it is and get worse.

My crystal ball is in the shop this week. I'll get back to you with my prediction after it's repaired.

Oops, it's tied again.
If it's a tie on a very conservative forum, then I'd have to say Obama

Wrong.

Whether Obama or Romeny wins, the economy will seriously get better in the next four years.

Yes, even under Obama, the economy will drastically improve.

The signs are already pointing that way and it has nothing to do with Republican or Democrat.

It will be a tight race, but Obama will win by 1-2%. He has consistently polled ahead in most of the swing states. The Republicans have had a pop the last few days since the start of the RNC, but soon we will be in debate mode and Romney will have to explain why he lead Bain Capital to take a federal bailout in the early 1990's despite strongly opposing federal bailouts during the 2008-2009 crisis. His (lack of) tax return disclosure will come up. Romney's personal character has proven to be unpopular among most Americans, and I doubt that will be reversed during the debates.

Republicans shot themselves in the foot when they made it their personal goal to make Obama a one term president. People are tired of the rhetoric, tired of the attacks, and tired of the lack of bipartisanship. Rather than solving problems through compromise, Republicans are content to push a rigid, ideological agenda. It will leave a sour taste in voters' mouths this November.

Balancing the budget is a rigid ideological agenda? Then most should be all for it.

Budgets can be balanced a number of ways. Republicans are only interested in cutting and privatizing to solve our budget problems, and they are refusing to compromise with Democrats or listen to economists better versed on what needs to be done. That is a rigid ideological agenda. We saw how House Republicans handled themselves last summer with the debt ceiling crisis...obviously the nation's best interest was not the first thing that came to mind, and we have suffered for it.

Republicans are fine "balancing the budget" as long as it doesn't involve cutting the golden goose, defense spending, which is a hefty quarter of the annual budget. They have no problem with unfunded wars to the tune of $3.7 trillion, or unfunded tax cuts to the tune of $1 trillion, or an $880 billion annual defense budget, but boy will they get in a tizzy over $120 billion for unemployment benefits during a downturn or $25 billion for the Office of Student Aid or $8 billion for the EPA.

Well said for GOP budget "balancing".
How come GOP still has such straight face to argue for "balancing"? And some people still honestly believe it?

Like Clinton said back in the day: "it's the economy" or something like that.

They were stupid when they re-elected George W Bush.

You realize that if Romney were to win he will take us to war with Iran and Syria, adding to our national debt putting us in endless wars in the middle east. The Bush tax cuts will make it impossible for us to pay for these wars. The economy will get worse (trickle down economics doesn't work. It didn't work under Bush) A Romney administration would be George W Bush II. Not to mention the social issues. Roe vs Wade could be overturned if a supreme court justice retires and Romney appoints a conservative justice. And if you are under age 55, medicare won't be around for you. Plus the GOP ultimately wants to end social security. So the money from your pay check that goes towards your social security, you won't get back. When you are 75 years old with no social security you are going to have to find a job at Walmart greeting customers. With no medicare, how are you going to pay your medical bills? So yes people do get what they deserve when they vote for a candidate.
