Guess what? He was talking DOWN to the invisible man-child President. And no he wouldn't "shut up"! Free speech, humor, free thought and earned success, four things the Left hates.

Exactly!!
Clint spoke the truth and it was unscripted. The lefties panic if a TelePrompTer is not involved because they have seen their failure in chief make huge mistakes. And we all know what happens when he attempts to speak off the cuff and from the heart......you did not build it comes out of his mouth.

"man-child".... Repugnants RACIST euphemism for "boy".
Yup, FREE SPEECH means I can comment FREELY on what Eastwood was drooling.
Eastwood is a typical Repug...brought guns to the convention and indicatred that Obama's throat should be cut....he's a senile pig who couldn't even comb his hair and I have the freedom to say so....
It's beginning to look as if Eastwood isn't the only one getting senile.
Romney's campaign staff were nearly all provided by the Neo-Conservative GOP organization. From his campaign manager right down the list through his advisors, the organization is heavily loaded with Karl Rove associates and people who worked on the Bush family elections. These are the same political geniuses who delivered Florida in 2000, broke John McCain the same year, assassinated the character of John Kerry in 2004 and convinced voters to re-elect one of the most dangerous President's in our lifetimes in that same year. They ran roughshod over everyone that got in their way and did it successfully.
Now, though, they're making juvenile mistake after juvenile mistake. It's as if this is the first campaign they've ever run or, worse, they've forgotten even the basics of running a tight campaign. What you said above is just another in a long line of indications that they've either lost their minds, don't care if Mitt wins or, worse have so little regard for their supporters that they think they don't have to do much of anything for Romney to win.
Either they're completely incompetent, OR (my opinion) there are those in the RNC who look at the Romney campaign kind of like a shotgun wedding. Only a third of the base is moderate, and Romney is a moderate trying to appeal to an increasingly right wing base. They think Ryan will carry the far right end, and they're giving the key spots to up and comers on the right end in preparation for 2016, and encouraging people like Christie and Rubio to campaign for themselves. Romney is almost like a necessary evil and an after thought. I LIKE the moderate side of Romney--when I get irritated is when he panders to the far right.

One thing the GOP can claim that is actually true, the convention bringing in "surprise" speaker Eastwood. They did build that without help...
Mr. Eastwood is a befuddled, angry, ill-informed and incoherent old man, and the ideal poster child for the modern Republican party.
