You say this and just can't bring yourself to address the invoking of God by Clinton. Explain that, please.

I think s/he deserves a medal.

Yeah, uh, you've got that wrong.

ReaganBushDebt.org Calculation Details

Quote:
The debt was at $5,727,776,738,304.64 on January 19th, 2001, the last business day before George W. Bush took the office of president.
Quote:
During his administration, George W. Bush
increased the national debt by $4,901,104,747,205.59 and personally approved of the creation of 46% of the entire national debt,
in only 8 years
And Obama has added over $5.4 Trillion in 3.5 years. Dems seem to forget that the withdrawal of troops from Iraq was completely orchestrated by Bush before Obama took office.

Quote:
All US Forces were mandated to withdraw from Iraqi territory by 31 December 2011 under the terms of a bilateral agreement signed in 2008 by President Bush

I guess when someone is whipping you it feels like forever.

"The claim that President Obama weakened welfare reform's work requirement is just not true. But they keep on running ads claiming it. You want to know why? Their campaign pollster said, 'We are not going to let our campaign be dictated by fact-checkers.' Now, finally I can say: That is true."

"President Obama started with a much weaker economy than I did. Listen to me now. No president, no president -- not me, not any of my predecessors -- no one could have fully repaired all the damage that he found in just four years."
Thanks for the great post! I bolded above my favorite, and the Repug's least favorite, part

I see that your figures don't include either Clinton or Carter.

You can't make this stuff up.

You're dreaming. Romney's been incapable of providing details for anything he hopes to do as President.

He's afraid to have his ideas examined and scored by any but his imagination.
Bottom line - Common sense evades right-wingers. Always did, always will.

First, does someone have a link or source for the number of jobs created, per year, from 1950-present? (And, why did he start with 1961? Had he started with 1953 (Eisenhower's administration), would the conclusions be different?)

Second, how exactly were the jobs created? Isn't that the MOST important part of this equation? Not which party was in charge, but what policies made job growth possible? From there, then we can move the conversation forward.
