Good point. Remember, folks - vote OTHER in November; they back tort reform.

I was just talking to a friend of mine that worked for Romney as Gov. for four years and they used to talk for hours about climate change. Now, she's sad listening to him, because she knows he knows better.

Isn't saying what you believe and know supposed to be leadership?

It is really too bad the rwnj's have hijacked the GOP. Romney, at his core, is probably relatively moderate, if not left-leaning at times. Romney's ambition has required him to leave who he is at the door. A shame.

It is disturbing that one who compromise principles to that extent. I'd rather lose an election than compromise or make believe I am someone else.

You overestimate your readership and what people think of you on this forum.

Since you use 'KidRock' as an idol, heres an actual artist on class warfare.

Any politician who remains true to himself these days cannot win an election, and that includes President Obama. The left and right wing media see to it.

Who is the real Barack Obama? The Socialist/Communist community organizer as the rabid right propounds; the pragmatic, ambitious, often-unprincipled politician who tells his supporters one thing but then makes deals with the devil which pretty much eviscerate his core campaign promises to the adoring fans who elected him in 2008. The right and left both hate these deals. For now, Obama is walking the tightrope successfully.

If it weren't for the horrid GOP platform, I'd really be giving Romney a serious look. And, if it weren't for the horrid GOP platform/rwnj's, Romney would be a different, more appealing candidate altogether. Far more centrist, using the common sense he was born with.

A sad indictment of our political system. We need a new one.

No, you won't be able to blame the GOP for that.

The political system, such as it is, is all we have today, just weeks from the election.

What should give everyone serious concern is that the Communist Party has endorsed Obama.
That tells us all we need to know about whom to vote for.

Given the deal made with the health insurance companies for the very flawed ACA which will save the working guy a little (maybe) but will definitely enhance the revenues of the health insurance companies, the payroll tax cut undermining SS possibly leading to its demise - a fervent wish of the GOP, and extension of the Bush tax cuts, I'd hardly call him a Communist.

A Republican disguised as a Democrat might be more accurate.

Romney is a moderate at heart and that is how he will govern.
