Massachusetts a bellwether for the country? Oh libs I'm beginning to feel sorry for you all.
This was a state that HAD ELECTED Romney as Governor so CLEARLY the voters there HAD (at one time) a positive opinion of the guy. The fact that he's not sooooooo far behind there says something (despite your denials and snide remarks). These are the citizens that know him BEST - and CLEARLY they do NOT like him (by a WIDE margin).

More like the voters there were too stupid to see this Joe Isuzu character for what he was. Also, his gubernatorial oponent in 2002 ran a real crapfest of a campaign.

But the choice for the 2002 governor's race wasn't Romney vs. Obama or even an Obama-like figure (Shannon O'Brien was a poor campaigner who tried to use her family's legacy to win). And the MA electorate of 2002 is not the same as 2006, 2010, or 2012.

As poor a campaigner as O'Brien was, it doesn't excuse the pure lack of intelligence those who voted for Romney had that year. Had it not been for those bozos, We wouldn't be dealing with Romney on the national stage.
Romney has from now until the next debate to fully capitalize, but today's job numbers are going to stunt his momentum. I'm sure he'll throw rocks at the report but I do not think that will be enough.
He already has:

Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney says a drop in the nation's unemployment rate to 7.8 percent "is not what a real recovery looks like."
The poll I follow (daily poll) shows 49% (O) and 47% (R).
Obama has held the lead for a few days with this poll.
Monday's report should be interesting given the economic news released today.

Is that Rusmussen? If so it only has one post debate day of three days. Probably see a movement to Romney in Monday or Tuesday poll.
Yeah, the media cons are already claiming the numbers are cooked.
Isn't it nice to know that there are people who really would prefer their fellow citizens, and the country as a whole, continue suffering to score political points?
Many people see it where they live and some choose not to look.

Did Mitt Romney score a debate bounce in polling? Two separate pollsters show Romney improving in key swing states after Barack Obama’s debacle on Wednesday evening. First, We Ask America surveyed 1200 likely voters in three key swing states, and found Romney slightly ahead in all three:
