My opinion is that Ohio will go blue, too many GM employees that realize Romney would have left them for dead.

Which one? Looks very mixed to me? Easy to cherry pick honestly out of it to make either look good but that is why it probably comes out at a basic tie.

The internals look like nonsense actually. 5 point shifts in one day among certain demographics? Doesn't happen in the real world. I will give you this, the trend in polling is in favor of Romney in one area and it is worrisome: women. That is why Obama is aiming his remarks at this group and why Romney's binders and cooking comments matter right now.

Logically speaking, I would imagine that 5-10% of people are that paranoid. It's a very unstable time in the job market and knee-jerk usage of the race card is at an all time high.

2012 Electoral College Scoreboard - Rasmussen Reports™

Here is the Rassmussen electoral map. Obama is up 237-196 with 105 EV's "in play".
So this is definitely better for Romney than what it looked like a month ago where he was in bad shape.

Electoral Votes are what matters. It's like the guy whose baseball team loses 6-4 complaining that they should have won because they had more hits.
I have no idea if the 7% is accurate and electoral college is the bottom line but there is no way anyone wins the electoral vote if they lose the popular vote by 7%.

As an aside, I said months ago that Romney would win the popular vote by 7%.

From late July.

you again?
So you don't believe that a single digit percentage of people might be this paranoid? Why must you suggest it's me? I'm in a super stable job and they need me here more than I need them.

What is to stop that from cutting the other way? Romney has been running around telling business owners to strong arm their employees to vote for him or lose their jobs. Do you not think that will effect the paranoia.

Those people who have threatened may not be in swing states.

The people I'm talking about are in key manufacturing jobs and job stability is low in that sector. They need their job because they know it hard out there in their field.

You're actually right.

I just looked at the Florida polling. The most damning poll for Obama is in the 22nd Congressional District poll released today. Obama is winning CD-22, but only by 51-48% over Mitt Romney.

But you might ask, "Isn't that good news for Obama?" No. CD-22 includes Palm Beach County and Broward County. In 2008, Obama destroyed McCain 61-38% in Palm Beach County and 67-32% in Broward County.

Yeah, it's over for Obama in Florida.
