Maryland Democrat quits congressional race amid vote fraud allegations - Maryland Politics - The Washington Post

This one was so bad that even democrats were forced to object to it. It makes a person wonder, if a high profile candidate is committing fraud like this, how many people are doing this too?

“The Maryland Democratic Party has discovered that Ms. Rosen has been registered to vote in both Florida and Maryland since at least 2006; that she in fact voted in the 2006 general election both in Florida and Maryland; and that she voted in the presidential preference primaries held in both Florida and Maryland in 2008,” wrote Yvette Lewis, the state party chair. “This information is based on an examination of the voter files from both states. We believe that this is a clear violation of Maryland law and urge the appropriate office to conduct a full investigation.”

A senior Maryland Democrat said the party had been tipped off this weekend by someone within the party about Rosen’s potential issue. After checking the allegation, the party contacted Rosen on Monday morning and urged her to quit.

Anyone that thinks there is no voter fraud has sniffed too much fairy dust. Of course there is voter fraud. People claim that the poor will not be able to get ID but I bet if you attach their welfare check to it they sure will. To claim there is not voter fraud is nativity at its best.

Default Voter fraud in the US

A big topic during election time is voter fraud, and in here I see many threads about it as if it is a rampant problem in this country, so I am curious what percentage of voter fraud happens in the US based on what the people of CD feel it is.

I'm sure the SEIU and ACORN buses will be driving all throughout the tri-state areas, making sure they vote for Obama as often as possible.

Of course there is voter fraud, the real question is how much voter fraud. This is a case of one person registered to vote in two different states voting twice. So how many voters in both Maryland and Florida compared to this one voter fraud?

What is the percentage of voter fraud in Maryland and Florida? Obviously you think it is a high percentage, so I am curious what that percentage is.

Why would you ask people to arbitrarily make-up a percentage? Based on what?

How many people actually GET CAUGHT?

There are obviously many that never do get caught and therefore any statistics would be worthless.

But using your line of reasoning.....then no one should even bother registering to vote and everyone should be allowed to vote anywhere, anytime, or even numerous times because there's no use attempting to safeguard it at all.

There are very lax safeguards to prevent it as it is now. Why would ANYONE be AGAINST creating better ways to prevent it?

There's only one answer to why anyone would be against it and that's because they want it to continue.

Well in recent conversations in here I feel like people base voter fraud up on fictional numbers. I really don't think people here really understand what the percentage is. I seriously think people on CD think voter fraud is rampant in our country.

Well why not have everyone have a microchip installed that needs to be scanned to allow you to vote only once each election. It would eliminate all voter fraud.

Now here is a fun scenario for you. This person lives in Maryland, has a real Maryland ID, and voted in person in Maryland. This same person also files absentee ballot in Florida, and votes via mail-in, therefore there is no check on if they have a valid Florida ID nor any way to prove that they voted in another state, therefore making the Voter ID Law useless.
