Most likely since there was some stupid, unrelated, amendment, like abortion language, tied into it.

Then one would think that the Washington Time would have mentioned that.

It depends. Obama is rich but most Americans lost money. No matter what, it is you and your actions that matter.

You will never be rich if you depend on the government. Your inner thoughts and programming result in your actions toward achieving success. Remember, success is the result of serving others well or providing a product that others want. It's that simple. Simple example, if you go to a restaurant and the food rates like dog food would you go there again and again? People on government don't serve other people. They only take. People who have an entitlement mentality will always remain poor no matter who is in office.

Your mindset toward money results in the level of your wealth. Look at the people who you surround yourself with, are they victims, complainers, non-doers and poor. They most likely mirror your thoughts toward money and the rich. This will effect effect you income level. Misery loves company. Also rich people manage their money well, poor people mismanage their money. To continue doing more of the same and expect different results is crazy. Poor people play the blame and victim game often pointing their finger at everything and everyone else. Rich people know the external conditions and take actions to create wealth.

Fear will keep you from taking action and poor people operate out of fear. That is why Obamas fear mongering works so well.

Rich people focus on long term / net worth. Poor people focus on short term and when the next check is coming. There is so much out there on this subject yet many would rather complain and stick to their "No we can't" attitudes and do nothing about it.

The government can not possibly collect enough money to increase everyone's standard of living to those of the rich. It is up to you to do that for yourself.

Which is why I think we should tax the rich as little as possible because it is their ability to manage money better than the rest of us at making money.

Urbanlife the rich invest their money to make more money which also means hiring people, expanding etc and the middle class are the beneficiaries of those investments. It is up to you to change your mindset to a rich mans mindset and move up from there.

The rich also like to pass it along believe it not. They do mentor others and give back, you just have to be open to it. I have seen it time and time again. Obama is right about that, someone who is rich had a mentor but our mentors are someone who has made, mentors are not someone who is poor. You must be open to it, be around these people and be smart with your money. They will not spend time with a complainer, blamer or someone with a you owe me or a poor mans mentality. Rather than attack someone who has more than you why don't you consider it what I mean by learning about managing money and why the rich are better at it. That would be a life changing first step. It is a very simple concept and if you understand it you can actually change your financial circumstances for the better.

They understand how money works and that is why they are rich.

We should be taxing the poor more because they are simply too stupid with their money to ever be rich and when they figure out that they can't manage money and learn how to, they will then become rich like the rest of the rich people in the world because everyone knows the only way you become rich is by actually being good at managing your money.

So, the Dems are to blame for the fact they are holding the economy back is what you are saying...... I think both parties are responsible, but you just admitted here that the Dems are selfish and don't care about getting Americans back to work

Real nice

Yep! It is all the Democrats' fault for the state of our country, the only party that is 100% right 100% of the time is the Republicans and anyone with half a brain knows that.
