What a surprise. Run against the stimulus, but accept contracts totaling $335,000, paid for by the stimulus.

Ooops...sorry. He didn't know anything about it. :roll eyes:

Michelle Bachmann railed against "high taxes" despite the fact that she used to work for the IRS. Incidents of politicians being complete hypocrites are so rampant these days that it almost isn't even newsworthy anymore.

I would have done the same thing. I pursue my own self-interest under the current laws, regardless if I agree with those laws.

If that is the case you really don't have any values at all except "self interest". That is one of the biggest reasons our society and culture is in such horrible bad condition. "Do what I say, not what I do". No integrity, no values, no lines in the sand, nothing but a nation of hollow men.

Do you volunteer to pay more in taxes or are you a hypocrite?

You pretty much described just about any and every elected rep.
How many Dems are anti military spending yet attach pork to the defence budget?
How many elected reps claim to want to cut spending but grant themselves a cost of living increase every year.
Charlie Rangal claims to be for the little man but drives a brand new caddy on the tax payers dime. In charge of ways and means and gets caught cheating on his taxes.
The list is endless.
Go to citizens against gov waste and see the real porkers.

Did every Democrat who opposed the Bush tax cuts send an extra check to the IRS?

So what you're admitting is you're a hypocrite because you act in your own self interest.

80 years of liberal programs is why our society and culture are in such horrible condition.
