Obama announced last week that he will appear on the “Late Show with David Letterman” when he travels to New York City this week.

The news came the same day that he informed Netanyahu that he couldn’t meet with him during a U.N. conference at the end of September, citing a scheduling conflict.

Rapper Jay-Z and his wife, singer Beyonce, are holding a fundraiser for the president on Tuesday in New York City. The couple performed at a tribute concert for Obama the night before his inauguration.

Michele Bachmann said: "President Obama needs to get his priorities straight. What he needs to do is cancel his planned interview with David Letterman, cancel his meeting with Beyonce, cancel his meeting with Jay Z, and instead agree to meet with the Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu".

Evidently, fundraising and appearing on Letterman takes priority over possible war between Israel and Iran as well as the recent Arab firestorm of anti-Americanism.

Why should meeting with one of Romney's shills be a priority?

Anything that needs to be discussed with Netanyahu as a head of state already has been.

Pssst. what you refer to as a "Romney shill happens to be a World Leader.

Not a celebrity or a Show host.

A WAR in the Middle East perhaps?

Evidently not since Netanyahu asked for a meeting.

This however falls in line with Obama's hatred of Israel.

And he also happens to be shamelessly shilling for Willard and trying to suck America into accepting his imagined need for immediate war.

No, Obama already made his position clear, that war was not currently necessary or desireable. If Bibi can't accept that he should simply be told he's on his own.

Calm down...Obama called the top diplomats and told them their safety is top priority.

Anti-Islam Video Protests Live Blog - Al Jazeera Blogs
US President Barack Obama called top US diplomats across the Arab world over the weekend to assure them their safety is a top priority as anti-American unrest sweeps the region.
..
Earnest (WH spokesperson) said the safety of US diplomats abroad remained on Obama's mind, even as he toured swing states during his re-election campaign.
