Wait, or are you trying to say that no white people are dependent on the government in any way? I guess your post isn't that clear.

Agree!

Americans must cling to their guns and religion as Obama says. We are going to need both.

Yes, thank you I am aware. I don't see what that has to do with my post at all. I said nothing about paying taxes, whether it be income, payroll, or sales tax.

I don't see where your response is coming from again. Yes, public officials as well as the services they provide comes from tax money. I said nothing about not paying taxes. I think everyone SHOULD pay their taxes. That's my whole point. The near 47% who don't pay income tax, or the 18% who don't pay payroll tax, SHOULD be paying taxes, to go toward those things. Those tax dollars also go toward those who are FREELOADING off the government, the whole point of these posts. Those who aren't even trying to work, living off welfare and foodstamps. We are paying for those people. Not the ones who aren't paying their taxes. That's the whole point. I pay my taxes to provide these things. They should too.

Oh, gosh, Mitt STOP!! I'm starting to feel sorry for him and I'm a sucker for underdogs. If he screws up much more, I might start to like him.

Exclamation hmm....

A Note on Romney’s Arrogant and Stupid Remarks - The Weekly Standard

"It's worth recalling that a good chunk of the 47 percent who don't pay income taxes are Romney supporters—especially of course seniors (who might well "believe they are entitled to heath care," a position Romney agrees with), as well as many lower-income Americans (including men and women serving in the military) who think conservative policies are better for the country even if they're not getting a tax cut under the Romney plan.

So Romney seems to have contempt not just for the Democrats who oppose him, but for tens of millions who intend to vote for him."

It is obvious that Romney has contempt for the poor.
