Yep, those thousand of rockets Israel fired from the Gaza strip at the innocent Hamas people, polished off quite a few of them, long after Hamas gave up the territory of the Gaza strip for the sake of securing peace.

Or was it the other way around?

I agree with Romney, there is no interest in long term peace even with a recognized Palestine.

Palestinians refuse to recognize Israel's right to exist as a Jewish state.

This has always been the stopping point in all of the past peace talks.

It is very hard to see a durable basis for peace given, on the one hand, the existence of Israeli settlements in Palestinian territory and an effective economic blockade of the Palestinians and, on the other hand, the existence of extremist political organizations like Hamas in the Palestinian leadership.

Any durable peace means painful concessions by both sides. While the USA continues to give unthinking support to Israel, they have no incentive to give those concessions. At the same time, the Palestinians have no incentive to support a moderate leadership.

The USA are the only people who can drive a settlement in the short to medium term. But that means abandoning an Israel at all costs policy. Israel may wish to consider that this is about as good as it is going to get and that, negotiating from their current position of strength may be preferable to negotiating from a possibly weaker position in the future.

Romney has surrounded himself with Neocons. The same bunch that led Bush into the Iraq War.

These are right wing Israeli apologists. They have more loyalty to Israel than they do this country.

They are mainly hardcore, right wing Jews and determined to use USA resources for Israel's strategic interest.

They travel to Israel multiple times each year, they work for Israeli funded political think tanks.

It would be a living nightmare if these clowns were given any credibility by a US President again.

Just a reminder of how these Israeli firsters were able to corrupt, and circumvent our own military, last time around.

Romney would rather go to war for Israel than work for peace in the Middle East. Typical ChickenHawk, he's a real stud at calling for war when no one in his family will be affected and he can throw more unquestioned $$$ at the MIC.

Two words for the ChickenHawk: NO THANKS!

No Israel would be much more convenient for us, that is absolutely and undeniably true.

Who is leading Obama in the continued slaughter of our soldiers for who knows what reason?

I wonder if Romney has ever spoken to a Palestinian.

I'm not defending Obama. I think Obama has been horrible on the expansion, and continuation of wars. I'm not voting for Obama.

But even as crappy as he has been, surrounding yourself with these, bloodthirsty, Israeli loving Neocons, like Romney has, just brings it to a whole new level.

Don't hand over one more son or daughter to these ungrateful chumps..they just waste them...waging war of any kind might be amusing to these folks but it is not so sporty for the families of those that come back crazy- limbless and broke. Palestine is the worlds largest open air prison camp on the planet..They are in no position to even decide on anything...They are just a bunch of caged abused dogs who walk in circles thinking nothing till someone pokes them with a sharp stick to KEEP them appearing violent...to justify their caging.

Why don't the criminals in places of respect just be honest and nerve gas the captive Palestinians...To allow this to go on this long is sick- either we have sadists or crazy people deciding the fate of this place...or both... There is no valid excuse for allowing Palestine to languish this long..The average person there wants peace--so does the average person in Israel want peace with the Palestinians. The way it is now- If a Jewish woman wants to make peace with a Palestinian woman_ The Jewish woman will be persecuted by the powers that be...The whole thing is sick and absurd...Romney knows nothing about Palestine...He should shut the 888k up- He is just a rich hick.
