"All of the polling out there uses some variant of the 2008 election turnout as its model for weighting respondents and this overstates the Democratic vote by a huge margin."

We all know that Obama is not as popular as he was in 2008 and his turnout will not be as large. He couldn't even fill the stadium at his convention with unlimited resources to bus in supporters.

Obama probably couldn't fill the stadium in Charlotte because the event was canceled due to bad weather.

Ah, autumn!

When hope springs eternal!

When all the polls are wrong, when Dick Morris is a wisened sage, and when Mitt Romney is a competent candidate!

Poll:
When do you all think rikoshaprl will concede Mitt Romney's loss?

a) By the end of September?
b) After the first debate?
c) After the last debate?
d) By the end of October?
e) Before Election Day?
f) When Fox News finally calls it for Obama at 10:00pm EST on Election Day?
g) By the end of November?
h) When the Electors convene in each state on December 15?
i) By the end of December?
j) When the Electoral votes are officially counted on January 6?
k) When President Obama once again takes the oath of office on January 20?
l) By the time President Obama leaves office on January 20, 2017?

It's anyone's guess!

Dick Morris will say just about ANYTHING to get a headline. Fail.

That's 'cause Dick Morris knows there are a lot of stupid and/or gullible people who will believe it, no matter how many times he is wrong. He says what they want to hear, and the eat it up.

Some people are just incapable of distinguishing between reality and the way they want things to be.

People who give one ounce of credence to Dick Morris' predictions are being played like a violin. They don't get that he's a media wh*re who will say anything to get a headline. And then they think his Republican wet dream predictions are even more valid because he was a pollster for Clinton. So it plays into the belief that "even Democrat insiders know Obama is doomed!" He's not.

Dick Morris doesn't care what side he's working for, as long as he's making money and/or getting airtime. He burned his bridges with Clinton so he decided to become a mouthpiece for the right. It's that simple. Please don't use Dick Morris to back up your "gut feelings" because you won't be taken seriously.
