The Brazilian government allows political candidates to use presumed names, when running for political office. The candidates oftentimes use pop-culture references, as an easy way of attracting attention! Besides the 16 Obama's and 5 Batman's running for municipal elections down there, there's one James Bond, a Wolverine, Ladi Gaga and one Elvis-Didn't-Die! In 2008, a candidate named Christ of Jerusalem ran for office, but lost!

I hand it to the fun-loving Brazilians, they don't take their elections as deadly-serious affairs, like we do in this all-work-and-no-play-let's-keep-it-serious country of ours!

Would you be for or against allowing candidates in the U.S. to use presumed names when running for office, to add some color and fun to our elections?

Now wouldn't it be funny, if a number of those Obama's won their elections!!! Or one Batman!!!
