I thought Professor Warren was 'fighting for the little guy'...?

Mass. Senate Race: Elizabeth Warren Represented Coal Mining Co. - ABC News

Between this, the potential illegal practice of law in MA, and the Travelers' Insurance news now out, things are looking more rocky for Warren and her image. This won't affect the super liberals in Cambridge, Boston, etc. But this is going to hurt her in the blue collar suburbs and exburbs.

I posted this when it came up in another thread and it was not that cut and dry...

But at the time Warren worked for Travelers on the Supreme Court case, most asbestos victims and their attorneys were actually on her side of the issue. She was fighting, she says, to unlock the $500 million trust, which Travelers said at the time it was willing to pay out in order to gain immunity and settle all the outstanding claims. Warren has also said that her work was intended to preserve an important principle in bankruptcy law that would encourage bankrupt companies to leave money available to future victims of large-scale corporate malfeasance. Without the promise of immunity from future lawsuits, these companies have no incentive to establish such trusts, she argues...

Fact check: Scott Brown’s asbestos accusations against Elizabeth Warren were true, but misleading - Political Intelligence - A national political and campaign blog from The Boston Globe - Boston.com

Brown is obviously having trouble debating Warren, so much so that he attempted to wiggle out of the first one. He goes out of his way to keep the non-issue of her family tree in the foreground so as not have to address the real issues. A pitiful attempt to deflect. When you read articles such as the one you linked to, you really need to dig a bit deeper to get at the facts. Brown never counted on this being such a close race and he is desperate.
