In an NBC news interview today Romney made this statement embracing RomneyCare and citing it as an example of how it shows his empathy. This guy is a real piece of work. He cites Romney Care as proof of his compassion but completely misses the point that Obama is proposing the same for the US and that he is against it now. He seems to be making an argument for Obama rather than himself. Oh, the irony! Has he lost his empathy or his mind?

"I think throughout this campaign as well, we talked about my record in Massachusetts, don't forget -- I got everybody in my state insured," Romney told NBC's Ron Allen in an interview before his rally here tonight. "One hundred percent of the kids in our state had health insurance. I don't think there's anything that shows more empathy and care about the people of this country than that kind of record."

The big difference is the people of MA wanted Romneycare. The majority of Americans did NOT want Obamacare, yet it was shoved down our throats. [1]

Elected officials should do what their constituents want, regardless of their personal opinions.

How do you know the majority of Americans do not want Obamacare? Was there a public vote on Obamacare?

If American's don't want Obamacare, they certainly don't want Romneycare.

There were many, many polls done and it was shown that overwhelmingly, Americans did not want Obamacare.

Obamacare is similar to Nixon's Universal Healthcare plan while Romneycare which I have to give him credit for, is a hybrid of Nixon's just a little better IMHO.

So Romney does whatever the polls want?

Most think the rich don't pay enough in taxes, should Romney raise taxes on the rich??

As I already posted, elected officials should do what their constituents want them to do.

Give me a break, flip flop just like Romney.

So Romney has no core values, he goes in the direction the wind blows.
