This early voting process is crazy. I think there should be a law that says no one should be allowed to vote until after the Presidential Debates. People should have to see the two men standing right next to each other and debating their records and philosophies and let the public see the two men together and see who is best.

I understand no one has seen the two of them together ever and they may have never met.

Because what politicians "SAY" is sooo important?

I'm sorry but we have a great idea of what Obama and Romney have "done" and what they will "do", (despite what they "say") in the future.

I'm not even going to bother listening to these two clowns and I'll cast a more informed vote on the issues than 99% of most Americans.

Only an idiot would not watch the debates to hear what the candidates have to say.

Only an idiot would vote early without hearing the debates. Especially given the mess Obama made of the recent attacks and the lies that are being discovered. People need to wait and watch and listen!

Many people have decided who they want to vote for listening all along.

The point of this thread is so subtle.

I am not about to base my vote on an exchange that lasts at best a few hours. Both have a track record as politicians and a public record as individuals. That is enough for me to decide.

Right....at this point debates are either for people who are too lazy to pay attention until the last minute, or people hoping their guy scores points against the other guy face-to-face.

Why? There are very few undecided voters. Most of us had our minds made up months, if not years ago.

It's likely most went to sleep on 11/4/2008 knowing which party they were going to vote in 2012.
