Assuming the congress stays Republican, are there those who are hoping for an Obama victory to make him look horrible for the next 4 years, thereby increasing the chances of a more libertarian leaning small .gov candidate such as Rand Paul or similar to emerge in 2016? Sun Tzu often spoke about defeating your enemy by frustrating him and causing him to make big mistakes out of that frustration. If Obama becomes angry and frustrated over the next 4 years, and assuming he makes huge power grabs, would that alienate the youth voters who are straddling between libertarianism and neo-progressivism?

On a side note, will the GOP start a buzz-phrase "I blame Ron Paul/Gary Johnson" if Obama wins, just as Obamabots use "Blame Bush" to make excuses for Obama's failures?

No...if he gets reelected and fails, so will our country. Don't cut off your nose to spite your face.

We've already watched him fail for 4 years, no need to watch another 4 years of failure. Especially at the cost of trillions more dollars.

I don't see how anybody could want the President of the USA to fail, considering if he fails the country that you and your children live in will fail to a certain extent as well. I dont like Obama, but for those reasons I dont want to see him fail.

People can prepare appropriately to minimize their exposure. Yes it can be done.

Are some anti-Obama folks hoping for an Obama victory to watch him fail as lame duck?

He has already failed miserably. We don't need to watch four more years of failure.
