So basically Mitt's campaign is bragging about scripted zingers? That goes against the point of zingers, they are suppose to come off naturally, not told to everyone that you are planning on doing them. So now people will be watching to see what Mitt's zingers are and if he pulls them off but they will come off as planned.
We all know these debates are scripted and the best zingers are planned, but the idea is that they are suppose to come off as like it was a comment that is on the spot to catch up an opponent. Romney is doing the opposite for what a zinger is used for.
I talked to my college aged son last night, and just as I predicted, they're going to watch the debate and play a game every time Romney tries to pull out a "zinger".... He's too young to drink and they're in an alcohol free dorm (thank goodness), so I'll be curious to hear what the "game" involves. It's just sad that Romney is turning into a national joke over this. His campaign did it to him--why would they leak that debate prep information to the press like that? It makes Romney look like a complete idiot.
The problem is that the liberal media has been practicing their zingers for years. After the debate, no matter how good a job Governor Romney does, they will lie and spin and try to brainwash people to believe their scum.
I hope someone spikes the Zing-ee's drink with truth serum right before he hits the stage so that he's so bad the media is left with their thrill rolling down their leg.
