In a remarkable reversal of fortune for President Obama in Ohio, the GOP has closed the huge gap in absentee ballot requests used by early voters that favored the Democrats and the president in 2008, setting up what one state analyst said could be a Mitt Romney blowout on Election Day.

While in 2008, 33 percent of the 1,158,301 absentee ballots went to Democrats and just 19 percent to registered Republicans, a 14-point gap, this year 29 percent are being requested by Democrats and 24 percent by Republicans, a five-point gap.

University of Dayton Professor Larry Schweikart told American Majority Action President Ned Ryun that the GOP gains favor Romney. "Although it is early, we will soon be at a point where--assuming Republicans vote for Romney--the Democrats will have to overwhelmingly win all the remaining early voting just to be even on November 6. But, given Ohio's voting history, if the numbers are even close after early voting, Obama will lose, and possibly lose big."

Ohio will be one of many states Romney loses. The only thing that remains to be seen now is if this is going to be a landslide for Obama or merely a win.

Yes!

It's quite possible that Willard could be blown out of Ohio on election day.

I don't read the media's propaganda or fixed polls I live in Southern Ohio and even die hard Democrats are not voting for Obama or Brown true Americans see what they are and are doing to our country.

This is Coal Country it puts the food on the table ...this is God fearing Appalachia where we cling to our guns and Bibles.

RealClearPolitics - Election 2012 - Ohio: Romney vs. Obama

Based on the last 4 elections, Ohio has about 2% more Dems than Cons voting. That hasn't stopped CBS, Wash Post, & NBC from oversamping Dems in Ohio by 9, 8, & 10 respectively or an average of 7 points oversampling Dems. With RCP average only a 5.5 Obama advantage combined with the oversampling by an average of 7 by pollsters equals to about a 1.5 advantage for Romney.

Get ready to feel on election night like Obama felt after the last debate.....defeated!
