Mitt Romney has overtaken President Obama in a Public Policy Polling survey released on Tuesday.
Romney won 49 percent support from likely voters in the poll, compared to 47 percent for Obama.
Itís the first time all year Romney has led in the poll, which was conducted on behalf of the liberal Daily Kos website and the Service Employees International Union. Obama led 49-45 percent in the groupís previous poll, conducted before last weekís debate.

Looks like the debate left a mark that won't soon go away. Barry is in real, big trouble.

Whew! Good thing the polls are crooked, right? Or I'd be looking for an overpass to jump off of, fouling up everybody's morning commute

I have to admit, as bad as Obama was last Weds, I'm shocked at the reversal in the race. Nothing like sucking in front of 67 million viewers to change the narrative.

BUT... there is LOTS of time left. Three debates to go. The "Moderate Mitt" act won't stand up to real scrutiny.

These polls Pre-date the new employment numbers, and I don't think Rommey did himself any favors with that FP speech.

So I wouldn't start the end-zone dance too soon if I were you.

Meh. The RAND corporation has a poll saying the opposite.

This is a FAR-left leaning poll and Romney is ahead by 2 ???

That mean in reality, he's ahead by 10.

I can't believe I actually agree with you on something, anything...but you are right. POTUS is in deep trouble. No more room for error.

What was funny was watching all the 0bots posting polls and babbling about how the debate didn't help Romney.

They're too dumb to realize that new results don't happen overnight. Even marginally intelligent people knew it would take at least until Monday (yesterday).

Aren't you glad you aren't one of them?

We have time left but Pres. Obama really let it get away from him last week. Can't rewrite history but he can come out and take it to Mittens in the next two debates. I was amazed how he couldn't even fake his interest...it was shocking!

Actually I do think the debate helped Romney, and it is obviously showing in recent polls because I for one don't think the polls are cooked when they aren't good news for my candidate.

Internet poll? No wonder RCP doesn't include it or Daily Kos.
