You guys thought Romney's politeness was being a bully, need to take note how it is really done, when Joe hits the stage.
Romney was not arrogant, condescending, or rude about it.

The Moderator, moderated Ryan, but never Biden.
Biden seemed worried he wasn't getting the same time. Biden got more talk time than did Ryan.

It is funny how Biden's take on Iran, was the same as Ron Paul's.....

Ryan's also been in Congress since 1998--not exactly a rookie. His problem wasn't that he was an inexperienced debater--it was that he couldn't give any details on his own economic plan--it's still a big secret--and he knows diddly squat about foreign policy (and it showed). Some of you were so sure that Biden was a bumbling buffoon that you overlooked the fact that he'd been on the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations for nearly 40 years, including a stint as chair. That's why he got the VP pick--because he knows as much about foreign policy as anybody in this country.

The CNN after debate begs to disagree with you. So, just like the first Obama/Romney debate, where the President and his team spent a weak making excuses, before Mr Obama could finally say, "I did not have a good night.", it will take the Prez' team a few days to realize their vaunted "likeability" quotient took another hit. From the CNN Poll...

"Seven in ten said Biden was seen as spending more time attacking his opponent, and that may be a contributing factor in Ryan's 53%-43% advantage on being more likable. Ryan also had a slight advantage on being more in touch with the problems of average Americans."

How you going to counter that, old yeller?

The opponent isn't important. Just get them into a fight. If you care about our national security, you'll vote Obama/Biden.

I think it is funny how Cons conveniently forget this fact.

What are the excuses for Ryan sounding like he was asking for pledge money during a PBS telethon?

I'm sorry, but nothing about Ryan says "presidential" to me. Biden is not perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but he makes Ryan look like an amateur and a jerk.

Yep the difference between a bar room (my way or the highway) brawl or a using brains and a willingness to work across the isle. Dems are loving it though lol. Tap the keg, get the peanuts and go circle around as the bar room brawl ensues.

To me it proves what is being said, the Dems can't work with others. One would have to wonder how Biden's way would work when dealing with world leaders. They act wimpy when it comes to foreign affairs.

Your choice: Brains and class (Ryan) over brawn (Biden).

Actually Biden has been working with Congress his entire political career and has been working across the aisle long before this debate. You should look up his career, he is a pretty impressive Congressman and have done some great things during his career that involved working with Republicans and Democrats.

Mouth, foot... move on.

Personally, I didn't have great expectations from Biden, but he did what his opposition deserved. Now only if Obama ensures being less than respectful of that idiot opposite him next week, catching, questioning every lie that is guaranteed to come from there... you know the kind of things people with "morals", "values" and "religiosity" can't live without.

Good to see Biden didn't give into liars. He could have done even more, but he definitely demonstrated an approach on how to.

He wasn't lying, he forgot how he voted in Congress on the wars, he's old you know.

It was late at night and he didn't get a nap.
