You keep saying this, and then showing evidence you have no idea what you are talking about. As I have said three times, we are very far to the right of the Dem and GOP policies of our most successful decades under republicans and democrats. Going back in that direction is not a bridge to communism. Unless you consider Nixon, Ford, and Eisenhower to be socialists. Outside of Limbaughland that is just laughable. We currently stand a far greater risk of going too far right (we saw what letting the foxes guard the chickens did to our economy) on economic issues than too far left. With our current congress, the socialist fear mongering is just silly to the point of being loony. Kind of like saying Obama is going to help the UN is steal your guns.
The funny thing is, you started this thread to ask for policy ideas and priorities, then you immediately dismissed them in the most superficial way. I thought you wanted to learn something, not just to wind up to spew your talk radio sound bytes.

I didn't ask for "policy ideas and priorities." I asked what Obama's plan is and how it's different than his current policies, and how it will work to fix the economic mess we're in. This wasn't about a comparison. It was to find out what Obama will do if he wins.
You are the only person who has tried to explain it who thinks his plan might work (and that's being generous considering I said if you mention Romney, Ryan, republican, right, etc. that's admitting he can't fix the economy.) And by posting the "gini coefficient," you showed you were in favor of socialism.
What a ridiculous inquiry by the OP. The economy was in a free fall when he took office. You regressives try to ignore this but it's true. Had we kept on the same pathetic Republican path, we'd all be living in shanty towns while the rich flourished, fat, dumb, and happy. Unemployment rate would be historically high. Deficit would be double, maybe triple what it is now. There would be more foreigners working here than qualified Americans, and the number of displaced Americans would be shamefully high. NO person has ever had the misfortune of following George Bush as President, or dealt with the post-Bush stench.
President Obama HAS turned this economy around..and don't you forget it either.
Instead of yet another ridiculous inquiry that ignores what good the President HAS done, why don't you ask yourself what have Congressional Republicans done to help? What have Republicans done in the last 20 years to help the economy? Romney has GOALS, but no plans. He's vague, deceptive, and deceiving. He's has GOALS, not plans. Learn the difference.

- Any reference to Romney, Ryan, Republicans, etc. will be considered an admission that Obama is unable to improve the economy. There was a time in this country when those with differing opinions and thoughts could freely talk about them without the other side blowing up and spluttering nonsense.
That is no longer, take for instance a guy I work with who for the most is a really nice guy, BUT, you start talking to him on politics and he starts ranting and raving about how OBAMA is the antichrist. He tells me he didn't like bush, and then he continues on telling me about how the unions are destroying the country, but where I feel this comes from is simply where he's at right now he's stuck. He's with tech support doesn't make much money at all, and the fact that the company we are working at will be moving to another building and he's afraid that he'll be losing his job. Like many of us that are their, he knows the job he has now is easy to replace people within that area of expertise.
I feel he's angry and bitter about where he is in life, and that he just believe what he wants to believe even if it's not true. He believes it because he doesn't know what else to think. That is what I think anyway why there is so much anger in this country, why we have so many insane non-nonsensical rambling posts and threads on this site. And the republicans know this, they know that many of there policies have destroyed this country and rather than dealing with it they point and scream SOCIALIST!! or MARXIST! Or Terrorists !! The real terrorists in this country are the one's in power who abuse it, say for instance those on the house science and technology board and who say women can't get pregnant from rape because there body emits a certain chemical. Or there are those who say evolution and other ideas like it come from THE PITS OF HELL ! How can you reason with these type of people ? Both of them are in THE HOUSE SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY departments ?? This I feel is what is wrong with this country we have the insane shoving their bs hypocritical beliefs down our throats.

That man is possibly the only person to ever believe such a stupid thing about rape. Maybe that's what he was taught. It reminded me of Adam Sandler in Waterboy when he said, "My mama said...my....my...my mama said." I know of no one, democrat of republican, who has ever heard of that and maybe the voters in his state will decide if that's enough to oust him. I wouldn't blame them. That is most definitely not a reflection on republicans. That would the same as saying that's what all men believe or that's what all whites believe or that's what his religion believes.

I challenge you to find any statement by Romney or his campaign that says he wants to make it legal for women to pay more for health insurance than men. He's going to repeal and replace Obamacare, the single largest tax increase on the middle class in American history and it has nothing to do with what you stated about women.
Another mention of Romney. This thread is turning out way more revealing than anyone could have imagined. Obama supporters have no idea what his plan is or how it will fix the economy.
The main issue at stake is that the only economic plan Obama has is to turn America into a socialist state, which is the bridge between capitalism and communism.
