I'm not forgetting that at all. I'm just opposed to setting up a nanny state to protect voters from themselves. That would be an extreme government overreach, in my estimation.

I would love to see that, I would even be okay with 12 year term limits for Congress to allow Congressmen time to see legislation through.

I would also love to see electoral boundaries based off populations rather than partisan politics. Congress shouldn't be allowed to pick their district shapes, which would also make it harder to be reelected and bring back more accountability to Congress because elections would no longer be an easy win for a number of them.
