Don't get me wrong, I'm mostly on the left but I am in no way a big Hilary backer. But your post doesn't really go with what she is proposing. Your just itching to bash her. Pick a better reason.
As for the idea, I'm pretty thrifty when it comes to government spending. It has its merits but I would have to look into it more. However, I will note that money being used for something like this is a better use than many of the ways it is spent currently.
She’s just trying to buy votes. It’s one of the top 5 plays right out of the democrat play book.
No democrat has EVER done anything they said they were going to do while running for office. I wouldn’t worry about it ever seeing the light of day even if she is elected.

Every baby born in the USA is automatically an American citizen. Everything I wrote already happens without the $5000 bonus. Do ya think it might increase the number of anchor babies born here?
