Obama told Ohioans to subsidize the pensions of 50 year old union retirees with their tax dollars, stole wealth from GM bondholders who live in Ohio to give to the union, and shut down how many car dealers in Ohio? And you seriously believe they're going to vote for him?
And I'm sure those voters are very angry that they still have jobs?
What's gonna happen if Romney wins popular vote - if you believe Gallup which is pretty steady on that point - and loses Electoral Votes? Won't all hell break loose?
Did all hell break loose when the Supreme Court decided the 2000 Election?
The great thing is that we'll be able to turn this machinery over to Hillary in 2016.
It may be an open question as to whether anybody wants a machine that failed to re-elect a president who started his administration with 70% approval of the public, then systematically dribbled support away for four years, only to end up like Jimmy Carter--a failed one-term president.

There's no way Romney could win by that much and lose the EV. Ohio may hold Blue barely but other states would collapse PA, WI for starters.

Yabut, this is the GOP we're talking about - and all the white racists, rednecks, and the mean Karl Rove types. The Dems are much more passive as a rule, imo.
Someone on C-Span last week said if Romney loses the EV and wins the popular vote, the GOP will move heaven and earth to do away with the Electoral College.

The margin was much tighter in the popular vote but I agree the Constitution will be respected. Unlike Obama Mitt is a stand up guy he wouldn't put the country through turmoil for his own ego.

Except for that fact that Obama is on the course to re-election. You guys are seriously having a very difficult time dealing with evidence. Yes, climate change is real. And no, Adam and Eve did not walk with dinosaurs.

Obama's approval did not "dribble away for four years". It's held pretty steady between 42% and 52% since the end of 2009 struck it's bottom around a year ago and since then has been back up.
