How many men and women have sacrifeced their life so they could serve ther "missions" instead of protecting their country and its freedoms? Romney registered for the draft but drew a high number in the draft lottery. He was not called up. Once the draft was ended there has been no requirement to serve in the military. Seems like by now, we have had at least one President who never served. Which leads to the current situation, no candidate who can fulfill your implications.
