Whether Nate Silver is a liberal hack or a non partisan number wonk might come down to what the name of his blog "really" stands for....

Is to really the total electoral vote total of 538????

Or is it how many votes Gore needed to over come Bush's winning margin of 537 in Florida????

Here is an article about how the Silver is rocking the "momentum" mojo of the right wing spinmeisters, so they have to, guess what, attack him. He is the only person who is not lazily following the rocking Romney zeitgeist. He is also most likely the smartest.

I'm not voting against Obama or Silver.

We'll see how it all shakes out. I already did my duty for Obama and to "free the weed."
Good article, thanx!
"...desperate Republicans who have convinced themselves that Obama is universally loathed, try to stave off cognitive dissonance by insisting that Romney's the clear front-runner." Aka, kill the messenger.

So why don't we just come out and tell it like it is (and as this thread so amply demonstrates)... "GOP wingnuts are freakin' bat-sh*t crazy"!

Besides, I'm feeling kinda overdue for today's "Obamabot" or "*******" accusation...

And now any objective observer understands why Nate Silver's election "analysis" is worthless. Thank you Josh Jordan for doing a comprehensive deconstruction of Nate Silver, partisan hack.
Josh Jordan: inaccurate pandering political hack from the National Review who just told the Teabaggers what they wanted to hear

Nate Silver: NAILED IT!

In the end, Nate Silver was right on the money and neither a hack or a follower of 'biased' polls. Those on the right have been exposed as disconnected from reality.

Isn't it richly ironic that the party who always claims their opponent is bad at math and numbers ignored math and numbers that lead to an obvious outcome?

I get seeing these Bagdad Bob-type threads bumped. You realize how silly the rhetoric was getting.

Silver had it nailed.

Did FOX come up with the "over sampled dems" meme for the polls or did that come out of the Romney campaign? Whoever did that has eternally lost all credibility. Anyone who understood polling knew it was dumb when they said it. Nate Silver, in the meantime, has been proved a genius.
