Obama promised to achieve immigration reform next year???? What a joke, Obama promised to do this in his first year of office 4 years ago. As a previous poster wrote this guy will do ANYTHING, including lieing to the American people to get re-elected. Obama will continue to give out FREE STUFF in order to get votes. That is why we are 16 trillion dollars in debt and have 49 million people on food stamps. Keep giving people a government dependent society and they will always support you. If Obama gets re-elected it will be because of the people on these government programs, not because the average hard working slob voted for him. What he has done to this country in the last 4 years is truly sad, unfortunately the main stream media stays away from anything negative in regards to Obama. They constantly have his back and want him to remain as president???

Say, how come Obama stopped bragging how he had deported illegals at double the rate George Bush ever did?
Because he finally admitted that the numbers were scewered in his favor. Illegal immigrants were being turned away at the border so they were being counted in his so-called high deportation numbers. What difference does it make anyway since just this year he granted 1.8 million of them a stay of deportation with work permits? He also instructed Homeland Security not to deport ANY illegal immigrants unless they have a felony record. No wonder he stopped bragging!

I am not so sure of that. Reconquista loonies like LA mayor Tony Villar, George Lopez, Eva Longoria, and the rest of the "We did not cross the border, the border crossed us" crowd would not mind it one bit.
Immigration reform is more likely to happen under Romney than Obama. The only real efforts at reform happened under Reagan(Simpson/Mazzoli)and under Bush 2. If Obama wins,Republicans won't vote for it. If Romney wins,some might.
The amnesty of 1986 was a BIG mistake. Look, its like you have a broken pipe in your home that is leaking water. In order to fix the pipe you have to shut off the "main valve". It does not take a rocket scientist to figure out that the "main valve" in this immigration mess is the border. Seal and secure the border first!
Obama is selling out to the illegals. Illegals take American jobs and undercut wages. Illegals take UNION and non union American jobs.
