The real answer is he wants to privatize it and make some of his friends millions and provide less service to those in need. Just like SS , and Medicare. There are many things private companies can't do better and these are among them.

His whole basis is to make money for others as the people of this country get the shaft.

What does Romney's wanting to kill the program and privatize it and then not having the gonads to answer questions about it have to do with the article? You just enjoy typing the words "thread fail" I guess.

I do believe you are addressing the poster who started a pearl-clutching thread about what Obama's nickname is among the secret service staff.

The cuts Obama is being forced to make cuts billions out of FEMA's budget. Have they asked Obama about that? Romney merely wants to return FEMA monies to the states where it belongs and is best controlled.

There is NO WAY the individual states would be able to afford to repair the amount of
destruction that has occurred from this storm. The Republican party governor
of New Jersey has stated so. We need to keep these United States united and we
all need to help one another. The idea that I have everything I need so I don't care
about you is a Republican idea. It is a cold and callous practice when treated this way
by individuals or by your own government.

Translation: Just cut FEMA and Mississippi will take over. We're so efficient and wealthy. We love brown people too. You watch. There will be can drives in churches all over the State. Also I know a wealthy farmer in the county that owns a tractor.

HUH?

Ah, us Obama supporters no perfectly well why there is a sequestration looming in the first place so, no, we don't have to ask.

Secondly, how does returning money to the states not count as a part of the federal budget? Taxes don't come from states, they come from individuals so any money give to the states still count as expenditures. If the sequestration takes affects you are cutting the same amount of money no matter how it is distributed. Second the idea begs the question, if the money is returned to the states in the form of block grants who gets what and why. Do states get block grants based upon taxes paid by their residents contribution of based upon what states actually need the money? Who knows because Romney isn't saying, not to mention this week it appears that once again Romney is flip flopping like a fish in a BP oil spill.

There is no money to return, given FEMA is in the red because of so many, back to back, natural disasters.

So we know the Romney Campaign bought the can goods for people to "donate" for the photo op. Once on the truck what happened to them?
