"According to Willamette Week today a Clackamas County elections worker is under criminal investigation for tampering with ballots.
The underlying allegation is that the woman, whose name has not been released, filled in blanks on ballots turned into the county for the Nov. 6 general election.
Sources familiar with the incident say their understanding is that the woman filled in a straight Republican ticket on the ballots where preferences had been left blank by voters.
Elections law makes marking another person's ballot a class C felony."

Hmmm...seems like the GOP was right after all--voter fraud IS a problem...
Not possible IMO since it goes from the voters hand to a sealed envelope.
Plus, this supposedly happening in Oregon is like someone trying to do this in New York... WHY? What's it going to change?
Can you say Democrat setup here, that is more logical.

People are believing a blog now? That's about as credible as a Fox (faux) blog, isn't it?
Just came from a voting place and they always have you place your vote in a sealed envelope, not left open on a table for a poll worker. That sounds to me more like the Chicago way.
If the story said a bunch of young people who spoke no English showed up with an interpreter with a book telling them how to vote, that would be suspicious since you have to be 55 to interview for citizenship in a non-English language.
It is possible to catch people voting more than once or in the name of others.
I find it impossible to believe workers had access to unsealed votes to make changes. Makes Oregon sound like it gets it's procedures from the Three Stooges. They may vote like The Three Stooges there, but I doubt they handle a vote as such.
This story as presented doesn't sound plausible.
