"If you dont vote you cant complain" sounds like it was created by a liberal. So a piece of ghetto filth if they are bused into vote and has never worked has a right to complain about the system, yet me as a taxpayer since 14 has no right to complain simply because I choose not to vote and partake in a system that is corrupt. Nice logic. Nothing changes until a revolution. Call me then!
Good for you, do you want a pat on your back? If you don't vote I will smile from ear to shining ear from my chin to the top of my head while Democrats waste your tax dollars on pensions and Republicans overseas! It's a complete disrespect not to vote to the men and women who died fighting for this right. Also, the ballot has a lot of local issues that directly effect you too.

WOW! What about the Revolutionary War? What about WWII, people in Hawaii wouldn't be voting in the US election if it weren't for our brave men and women. I really think you guys should move to Somali where there is no formal government .

Obviously. You have a 1st Amendment right to do so without regard to your tax history.

In this country you are given the opportunity to vote to change the way things are run and done.... Unfortunately there are a great number of you that choose not to vote. You feel it won't matter or there's some big conspiracy etc etc... If everyone of you got off you azz and voted then maybe things would change..

Until you start carrying you weight you DO NOT have the right to complain.. You want to start a revolution then I say go for it.. But you might want to ask for your parents permission first and be sure to be home before dark....

God the ignorance runs deep....
You need a refresher on the CD Terms of Service....and the Constitution.

Even if you decide not to choose, you still have made a choice. So, if there's a revolution, what makes you think I'm going to depend on you?

It has a better chance of being heard than one that doesn't vote at all.

You realize, that who votes is a matter of public record, and if I email a candidate saying that I was one of his/her constituents that voted for them, they can actually find out of I DID vote.

Voting, even if it doesn't change anything, is simply a minimal normal expectation of adults in a democracy. There's nothing to be proud of about being too lazy to vote.

Having said that, I wish there were a civic literacy exam to make sure voters are informed voters. I don't think low-information people ought to vote, and don't encourage them to. I take it for granted that people who haunt this forum, whether liberal, moderate, conservative, libertarian or whatever else, are more informed than average, however. So get off your asses!
