I think they will have to restrain Obama in a straight jacket to get him out of the white house. I don't know what will happen, but I'm afraid it won't be pretty.
Another silly twit. If Obama loses, he will be just as gracious as George W. Bush was to him. All ex-Presidents, and only they, know all the burdens and rewards of leading the United States. None have acted in a disgraceful manner when leaving. Knock off the technicolor hyperbole; it is not becoming to a southern gal.
Al Franken didn't concede because he knew his union meathead buddies were working hard creating a box of ballots that would be miraculously be found in the trunk of a car and put him over the top.
Pure BS.
Ron Coleman appealed the election all the way to the Minnesota Supreme Court, and the court upheld Franken's win. He was finally seated 6 months after he won. Does that sound like the court did not consider everything in minute detail to you?
There was no election fraud. That's nothing but a meatheaded rumor.
Of the current Minnesota Supreme Court: 4 of the 7 serving judges were appointed by Tim Pawlenty, and one is a declared Republican.
To think that court is a bunch of liberals is even more meatheaded than the rumor. The conservative judicial majority was right there, and ready to appoint Coleman if there had been the least bit of favorability for him in the election results.
This is something we must ponder. Al Franken would not concede the election as well as I remember and his election was pretty darn close. I think if it is that type of situation again, Obama will not concede if Romney is leading in the polls as the precincts close. If Obama doesn't concede, it will be that action alone that I believe will lead to riots in the bigger cities.
Al Franken didn't concede because the race was really close, and guess what--he'd WON. He's a current US Senator.

Who is this person you've created in your mind, because it sure isn't the one we elected. There's something really wrong with some of you people--zero grip on reality.

I think they'll be too busy restraining all the wing nuts going shouty crackers because Romney lost

Well, we won't have to worry about that now, will we.

Actually, I think it was Karl Rove who needed a straightjacket on election night. And it was not pretty.

I love these old threads that show just how idiotic some of the most rabid right wing posters are. It just never gets old. Thanks for the many, many laughs, Gal. You were one of the best.
