There was apparently a software loaded onto the Voting Machines without public knowledge. This was ordered by the Attorney General. Why would you load untested software loaded onto the machines so close to the election?
Quote:
The entire case is a partisan free-for-all. The suit is brought by Bob Fitrakis, editor of FreePress.org and Co-chairman of the Ohio Green Party. Fitrakis alleges that the Secretary of State rammed through unvetted software based on a legal provision that allows so-called “experimental” software to be installed without testing by government agencies. “Our position is we don’t know what’s in [the software], but it seems to violate state law and federal law,” argued Fitrakis. “Under Ohio law, it’s supposed to be tested by the Ohio board of voting machine standards.”

But one also have to wonder, is this why the machines are changing votes from Obama to Romney?

Quote:
A Pennsylvania voting machine has been removed after it was found turning votes for President Obama into a vote for Romney. Internet user, centralpavote, recorded the malfunction on his smartphone and uploaded the video to popular content aggregator, Reddit.com. The posting shot to instant fame (with 4800 ‘up votes’ on Reddit as of the time of this writing), and MSNBC confirms that the machine has since been taken out of service.

Machines are merely trying to stop the continued destruction of this country. Even the machines know how bad it will be if Obama is reelected.

Agreed, at this point in time there's just wayyyyyyyy too much opportunity for fraud. We need to go back to old school.

Just thank the Lord that banks don't install "untested software" to manage your bank accounts folks.

Keyword......alleges.

If it's true, it's wrong. But anyone can allege practically anything. It's in the hands of the court, so wait and see what happens. That's how the American legal system works.

I have to admit though that I'm rather surprised that this isn't a HUGE story on much more important websites than Tech.net. One would think this would be mentioned on major mews sites.

Maybe they're giving it the same coverage that was given to the New Black Panthers last time around?
