I'm keeping an eye on WA, OR, and CO voting on marijuana.

CO's ballot measure re: marijuana is most interesting because it's not just medical, but for recreational use. Making it legal for all adults would effectively eliminate any Mexican drug cartel's incentive to deal it illegally. The results would be interesting to see 10 years from now.

CA is voting on whether to require labeling of GMO foods, to abolish the death penalty, and to adjust "three strikes" sentencing to ensure that only violent criminals are locked up for life after their third strike.

Sounds like some sanity is coming to light in California and Mass.I approve of all those ballot measures except for the death penalty one.
