When everyone moves forward, the country progresses...who wants to live in a country that's going backwards? And the load will be carried by the middle class and working poor, as it always has been.
The wealthy may have certain advantages, but they aren't the workers who built this country one road, one railroad track, one public school at a time. Start providing people with jobs and you'll see just what our citizens can accomplish, as long as they work together for the common good.
Oh - of note, I did get selected for an exit poll! First time ever. Was both interesting and a little odd.
Of course, the usual questions about who you would vote for, etc. Some other questions I thought odd. A ton about Obamacare and would I want to see tweaks, etc. Also, an odd question about would I support taxing life insurance annuities each year as they gain in value. And the final issue was abortion.
Thought the questions were 'interesting' as some of them had nothing to do with the campaign itself but rather what I wanted to see in the future kind of stuff.
Uh... you might to rethink that. VA Congresswoman on C-Span the other day ranting and raving about cuts in DOD will cause massive unemployment in her state.
So, what's that again about the government not providing jobs? Ha!
Do you know what I mean by further right?
- Small government
- Don't increase taxes
- Don't overspend
In principle I agree with the above. Other than government and party employee, liberals and Democrats don't have a goal of bigger government but rather better government. Were not in favor of higher taxes, but rather better value for money spent. And other than the banksters, we're not for deficits.
