It's not the wealthy that creates jobs, either. It's mom and pop. Enjoy.
We own our own small business, but can only have a few employees because we need jobs in order to keep our staff working. Mom and pop aren't usually the ones who run coal mines, restore the infrastructure or demolish useless and empty buildings. It's clear by the posts in this thread exactly who loves America and believes that she's a great country, and exactly who sees America as a place not worth living in or helping to correct problems. Barack is laying it down just as it is...if you don't want to help the country, at least get out of the way of those who do.
In regards to your dogma about "...as the government cuts defense spending by billions of dollars it will lower tax rates, freeing capital to invest in other sectors, which creates jobs." - despite their slogans and lip-service about it, even GOP Congressmen and Senators don't really buy that theory. If they DID believe it they wouldn't be constantly trying to suck up all that "pork" for their home districts - thus RAISING government spending.

Amateurs compared to Kennedy. Shall I go on? And as I noted - it's wrong for either party.
