Enforcement of immigration laws is going bye bye. Republican leaders and the media are telling us that LEGAL Latino voters all support weaker immigration laws regarding the deportation of illegal aliens and enforcement of immigration laws. Romney's loss tells us that strict enforcement of immigration laws is not popular with the new America. Are you ready for a completely open border?

Snooper, you want to know a big reason why Republicans lost? It's because of misinformation being spread like this.

Here's a big clue for you, Republicans. When an immigrant has a child in this country they are called citizens.

You might want to listen to the concerns of all your citizens for a change.

We lost because America thinks the Republicans will get us into more wars and the nation is war weary. I cannot fault them for this belief however unfounded. I am afraid GWB has ruined the party's chances for a generation.

the kid, NOT the parents.

i think the OP's argument is solid; this is precisely what we're being told-

kowtow to the illegals, or else.

Good OP. Now maybe Americans willstop blaming the evil joooos for everything. I think we have a new special interest to pander to.

Full disclaimer: I am a deep red Republican who believes the immigration population in America are large contributors to our nation and have been historicaly poorly served. Due to their superior family values and hard work ethic, they are indeed deserving of special interest being paid to them as a group.

Do you mean like the virtually open borders here now and that we have had for many years.
President Obama has NOT given amnisty to any illegals. If you want to see a party who gives amnesty to milions of illegals.......... go look at Reagan and Republican's..
Lucky for you snooper that the Native American's didn't have the current Republican view about Illegals.

Omfg. The Native American talk again? Is that it? How about you try a real argument next time?

Reagan signed the law which was VOTED and PASSED in Congress.

Obama signed an EXECUTIVE order after Congress did not pass the Dream Act.

There is a huge difference.

Jeez, go do some reading.
