This is truly shocking to say the least. Obama won with less votes in 2012 than McCain and Governor Palin received in 2008. Here are the numbers:



2012
OBAMA -- 59,651,236 ROMNEY -- 57,028,531


2008 OBAMA -- 69,456,897 MCCAIN -- 59,934,814

It'll be days before we know the 2012 final popular vote tally. Right now Obama's at 59,971,529 and counting... will likely be over 60 million by the time this post appears.

By your own numbers, McCain also beat Romney. Perhaps the GOP should have renominated him instead. What's Palin doing nowadays?

Yep, just passed 60 million for O.

Interesting that so many votes are yet to be counted, but it is already yesterday's news.
