Demographics are shifting in this country due to migration and diversity. Virginia is a new battleground state. From the results of this election and 2008's, it looks like it's a new trend in Virginia.


I think Texas and Georgia will become swing states by 2020.

georgia and arizona are really the only two that stand out as potential swing states.

Because Obama has performed much better in Arizona than Texas, and Arizona is growing much faster in the latino demographic than Georgia.

Arpaio is a sheriff in one county in Arizona. What does that have to do with Arizona as a whole compared to Gerogia and Texas? Nothing at all, that's what.

Just look at any state with a growing minority population.
-Arizona
-Georgia
-North Carolina
-Texas (maybe in 20 years of so)
-Virginia
-Plains states are also seeing a huge increase in the latino demographic particularly because all the meat packing facilities in states like Nebraska and Iowa.

I don't think they will become swing states. They're just gonna make permanent transitions from red to blue.

This country is becoming more liberal. The GOP needs to deal with this.
