RE: Benghazi...outside of die-hard Fox news viewers (who wouldn't vote for Hillary anyway), no one really knows or cares about Benghazi.

It will not be an issue for Hillary.

LOL! Paul would be the GOP's McGovern, but the Dems are a lock for POTUS for cycles to come, as the GOP has run against the grain of America. 19 blue states for 24 YEARS, VA & NM blue now , that is game, set, match Democrats.

Until the GOP can win states like Ct, NJ, Pa, Oh, its not relevent for the office of POTUS.

Getting nuttier will not change that in the GOP's favor.

That other guy what's his name... Gowdy, Goudy? He used Hilary for the mop bucket.

Ron's son Rand, did the most damage to Hilary.
The truth is always more powerful than the lies she spewed(we know now it was all lies)

Time does have a way of healing, but had she been running this past election, you damn well better believe it would have made a difference. She is lucky Benghazi happened when it did.

Bobtn: No, Rand Paul would not be the McGovern of the 80s, not in a million years. McGovern was just a nice guy, leaned left, with not much personality and no new ideas. Rand Paul is dynamic, has ideas, is a standout and is relatively young with the ability to attract the younger voter, especially the 20 somethings. Do I agree with him on some issues? No and will he get the nomination? who knows, but he is certainly making a name for himself.

Really with 75% of all new jobs being part time, a unsecured southern border, limiting the rights of the American people,8 years of Obamanomic, 4 years of Obamacare, I mean if you believe the American people want more of this, please keep bring more failed ideas to your party..you make our victory all but assured..

We cant win those states, you can never compete with free money..

It made no difference for Obama when it happened, it will make no difference for her four years later.

I remember a letter to the editor in my local paper a few months back, a baby boomer teacher asked his class of 20 high school senior students their opinions on some (then) current events. None of them knew what or where Benghazi was, few knew anything about Obamacare or what countries we were at war with etc.

And they all get to vote.

Than the GOP can't win the white house,. btw, those states supposedly wanting free money pay the vast majority of all Federal Income taxes, as their incomes far exceed the other states.

Red states pay less than their fair share, and get more back from Uncle Sam, than they pay.

I don't think so.

Rand Paul isn't drawing anywhere near the support among young people that his father did.

Not yet, at least.

Honestly, when it comes to young people truly mobilizing and rallying around a candidate, I've only seen it twice in the last 25 years. Obama and Ron Paul.

Rand Paul would get obliterated in the main election.

For some reason the GOP operates in a completely different bubble than the rest of America. Until they reenter reality, they're going to continue to nominate and stand by far right and unattractive candidates.

Huh? Name one "far-right" candidate nominated to run for president by the GOP in the last 20-30 years.
