2016 will look a whole lot different and it won't be because the GOP will be serving up some Democrat light candidate (which is what you all seem to think will fix our issues).

BTW 2016 will look worse for the Pubbies as the demographics continue to slide toward the Dems. Colorado was the tipping point state this time and the President won that by 4.7%. Colorado, Virginia, North Carolina and Georgia are all formerly "red" states that will be blue to purple by 2016.

Wait until Texas turns purple. The GOP will be out of power until the party ideology changes.

Or you could actually look at recent patterns of GOP nominees.
Romney, McCain, Dole, GHW Bush, Reagan. All candidates who came in second the previous time the nomination was contested, then ran again and won the nomination.
Paul or Rubio would be very a-typical GOP nominees. Santorum, who finished second this time around, would be a very typical GOP nominee. Now, that doesn't mean it will be Santorum. But there's a lot more to suggest it will be him than, say, Rubio.
Rove actually proved to Americans that democracy, not money, still rules this great nation!
